Our good-sized room, with its balcony and lovely view.
Having to drag luggage up a flight of stairs.

A wonderful resort-like motel, with a number of separate buildings arranged in a leafy bower environment. Comfortable rooms with refrigerators and microwaves create a great haven for those who want easy access to Yosemite's south entrance without having to pay the high prices to stay inside the park. Vacationers should know, however, that they will have a 50-mile drive to reach the Yosemite valley attractions. ...read more

Location and proximity to Yosemite.
Could use a facelift.

The hotel needs a facelift. It is quiet and has a woodsy location, nestled in the foothills just south of Yosemite national park. The bed left me with a backache. The restaurant food is very plain and overpriced. The gym equipment needs attention and maintenance. Not overall a bad experience, but not great either. Will look at other options for lodging on our next visit to the area. ...read more

Like the style of building, restaurant is good at reasonable price with discounts for hotel guests. Hotel has self-service laundry.
Nice location however a bit far from center of Yosemite (1-1.5 hours).

The setting was beautiful, with separate buildings of 10 - 12 units in each, not your typical long two story ugly building.
